Doctors’ Hospital of Michigan and The Wayne State University Physician Group (WSUPG) have joined forces to provide a team care approach to cancer treatment in Pontiac.  The affiliation, effective July 2011, will provide patients ready access to specialists in breast cancer, prostate cancer and head & neck cancers, as well as other cancer diagnoses.  This affiliation will also provide patients with a team of radiation oncologists who are experienced and active in the newest clinical cancer trials. 

The following WSUPG radiation oncologists will be practicing at DHM as part of the agreement:

v     Andre Konski, MD, MBA, Chairman of the Department of Radiation Oncology for the Wayne State University School of Medicine and service chief for Radiation Oncology at the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Center

v     Eric Mayer, MD, General Radiation Oncologist

v     Jennifer Webb, MD, Breast Specialist

v     Jung Chang, MD, General Radiation Oncologist

v     Steven Miller, MD, Prostate Specialist/Permanent Radioactive Seed Implants

v     Harry Kim, MD, Head & Neck Specialist
